NEW HORIZONS OF SWFL RECEIVES $14,000 GRANT FROM THE LEAGUE CLUB Naples, FL—MAY 30, 2023—New Horizons of SWFL is pleased to announce it has received a $14,000 grant from The League Club. These funds will support life-changing enrichment of our students at Super Teens Leadership Camp (STLC). STLC is a four-week summer camp that aims to enhance the leadership skills of 6th-12th grade students. “The Community Trust Fund of The League Club is helping teens gain leadership knowledge and provide community service and character development opportunities. We are grateful they selected New Horizons of SWFL to be one of the 33 recipients,” said Dr. Linda Cunning, New Horizons of SWFL Executive Director. The League Club President Denise Hadley said, “The heart and soul of The League Club is our Community Involvement Committee. For over 3 decades the League Club has addressed critical needs of at-risk adults and children in the areas of food scarcity, shelter, education, and the arts through grants to nonprofit agencies in Collier and Lee Counties.” The League Club has supported 182 agencies over the 36 years they have been giving out grants totaling over $6.5 million dollars. These monies are raised from the League Clubs Annual Fundraiser, Naples Tables, held every spring in Naples.
