COLLIER MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT OPEN HOUSE AND COMMUNITY SHOWCASE WHAT: Collier Mosquito Control District Open House WHEN: Saturday, April 15, 9 AM – 1 PM (rain or shine) WHERE: Collier Mosquito Control District headquarters, 600 North Road, Naples, FL 34104 WHO: Collier Mosquito Control District (CMCD), Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), Naples Police, Naples Airport Authority, Collier Med Flight, Naples Fire-Rescue, Experimental Aircraft Assn Chap. 1067, Civilian Air Patrol/Naples Cadet Squadron, Collier County Department of Solid Waste, Collier County Pollution Control, Naples Bees, Florida Department of Health-Collier County WHY: Our public is invited to attend this free event for tours of Collier Mosquito Control District facilities, and to get up close to equipment – and chat with the people who use it in our community to make Collier County a great place to live, work, and play. Equipment on display includes CMCD helicopters and airplanes, Collier Med Flight helicopters, CCSO and Naples Police vehicles, and fire trucks. Naples Bees is bringing a large live bee display and answering questions about beekeeping. Other community partners are bringing displays and children’s activities are available.
