Celebration Hope & Healing Raises Close to $1.4 million for Neighborhood Health Clinic Services Naples, FL – 3/16/23 – Neighborhood Health Clinic is pleased to announce the nonprofit organization’s Celebration of Hope & Healing event raised close to $1.4 million dollars, helping ensure continued medical services for Collier County’s for low-income, working but uninsured adults. Held on March 10th in the Van Domelen Education and Wellness Building on the Clinic’s campus, the Celebration Hope & Healing event included a reception, three-course catered dinner and dancing and an exciting Save-A-Life program allowing attendees to make their annual gift to the Clinic. Explains CEO Leslie Lascheid, “Our evening’s fundraising efforts accounts for 1/3 the Clinic’s annual operating budget. This level of support shows confidence in the Neighborhood Health Clinic’s volunteer medical team and the services we offer, as well as exemplifying that the people of Collier County see, value and support our uninsured workers. Together, we ARE providing hope and healing in our community!” Chaired by Susan Jones, RN, with support from Cris Ryker, Cindy Schuetz, Sherry Tackett and Clinic staff, the annual event’s supporting partners included: William Raveis, Arthrex, Key Private Bank, Physician’s Regional Healthcare System, Millennium Physician Group, Prysi Cosmetic Surgery, and The Woodruff Institute. Funds raised at the event benefit the Neighborhood Health Clinic’s life-saving medical and dental care services, including patient education, for low-income, working but uninsured adults (aged 19-64) residing in Collier County: • More than 30,000 patient procedures • More than 12,000 patient visits with working, uninsured men and women • Access to general medical practitioners; specialty clinics for complex, chronic conditions and dentists • Onsite laboratory basic tests for established patients • Patient education and research projects • Volunteer-driven: 250 physicians, 50 dentists, 6 hygienists, 100 nurses and 300 non-medical personnel • A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that has received the coveted Four-Star Charity Navigator rating 10 years in a row and GuideStar’s 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency To learn more about Neighborhood Health Clinic, or support the charity’s programs, please call 239.261.6600, or visit www.NeighborhoodHealthClinic.org.
