YOGACAN 2023 TAKING PLACE ON APRIL 2ND IN NAPLES Naples, FL (February 2023) – YogaCAN, a very special yoga class and special event, will be taking place on Sunday, April 2nd at Baker Park in Naples beginning at 8:30 am. YogaCAN is the evolution of the community yoga class, JaneCAN, which was originally created as an opportunity for family, friends, and community to rally and support Jane Waltzer as she and her family faced the challenges of living with breast cancer. Following Jane's passing, her legacy of selfless service continues to live on through the annual YogaCAN event. “Jane’s simple declaration of gratitude, ‘we are the lucky ones,’ continues to inspire us to be of service to those fighting cancer without the support and financial resources that we had,” commented Joel Waltzer, this year’s co-Chair, and co-Founder of the event. The event is sponsored by Practice Yoga which will be leading the morning yoga session at Baker Park for participants. All proceeds raised will go to Cancer Alliance Network (CAN) which provides financial assistance and support to individuals in our community dealing with cance Since launching in 2013, YogaCAN has raised over $250,000. “Our goal is to bring 300 people together to support the CAN mission of “neighbors helping neighbors”. Cancer patients have to navigate the disease as well as the emotional, physical, and financial tolls it takes on them and their family during treatment. We hope to lessen their financial stress and provide needed support during a difficult time. Please join us at YogaCAN and bring a friend! This is truly a very special and experience and heartfelt event,” added Waltzer.
