Jewish Federation of Greater Naples presents the Jewish Community Relations Council’s Day of Learning March 30 The free community event will examine “Vibrant Naples – Can It Be Sustained?” NAPLES, Fla. (March 2, 2023) – The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples invites the public to the Jewish Community Relations Council’s 8th Annual Day of Learning March 30 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center at 4720 Pine Ridge Road in Naples. As part of its mission, the Jewish Community Relations Council seeks to build bridges of communication and understanding with the broader Naples community. This year’s Day of Learning addresses a topic of interest to the entire Naples community: will we maintain our quality of life as Naples expands? “The lineup of speakers for the Day of Learning are all specialists in their chosen fields, fields that contribute to our quality of life in Greater Naples,” said Joel Pittelman, chairperson of the event. “Each speaker will share their thoughts and answer questions on what needs to be done to keep our rapidly expanding community at the forefront in each of their fields of expertise.” Speakers and topics include: Land use and development: Collier County Manager Amy Patterson and Collier County Director of Growth Management and Community Development James French Commercial development: Regional Economic Research Institute at FGCU Director Amir Neto, PhD. Arts and entertainment: United Arts Collier Executive Director Elysia Dawn Health care: Collier County Medical Society President Dr. Rebecca Smith Light refreshments will be served. The entire Greater Naples community is encouraged to participate. There is no charge to attend, but you must pre-register at jewishnaples.org/jcdl.
