Naples Therapeutic Riding Center Installs New Board Officers Naples, FL – Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC), a non-profit organization providing therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-facilitated group services to children and adults with physical, social and mental health needs, installed its 2023 slate of officers. Gregory A. Otis, Esq., a trust and estates attorney, will serve as President. He has over 30 years of experience in the wealth advisory industry. He is currently the Managing Director of Fiduciary Services at Wilmington Trust. He joined the NTRC board member in 2019 and also volunteers in riding lessons. Gregory is a member of the Naples Estate Planning Council and is also active with the Leadership Board of the American Cancer Society in Naples. Connie Sharpe, RN, a retired nurse, will serve as Vice President. Prior to her retirement, she served as Vice President of Health Care Logistics, a company she co-founded with her husband. She has been involved with NTRC since 2002 and joined the Board in 2012. She previously served as President, Chair of the Capital Campaign and also volunteers in program lessons. In 2009, she was named the NTRC Adult Volunteer of the Year. She is also active with her alma mater, Ohio State University, where she served as president of the College of Nursing Alumni Society and established the Connie Hahn Sharpe Nursing Student Fund. Sara White, Esq. a Senior Associate with the law firm Porter Wright, will serve as Secretary for a second term. She joined the Board in 2020 and brings her experience in complex commercial litigation including real estate, banking and finance to her position. Adrienne Doane, a certified manager of community associations, will serve as Treasurer. She brings more than 30 years of hospitality, management, accounting, and information technology experience to her board position. She is currently the General Manager of Enclave of Naples and a horse lover. Additional distinguished NTRC Board of Directors include Past President Brian McNamara, Esq., Elise Coutre, Jeffrey Fortier, Joe Logrippo, Sumner Nystedt, Bill Swartz, and Mario Valle. About Naples Therapeutic Riding Center Established in 1997, Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a mission to improve the lives of children and adults with physical, social and mental health needs through therapeutic riding and other equine-related programs. With a dedicated staff, herd of 16 horses and the assistance of nearly 400 volunteers, NTRC provides unique equine-assisted therapies to more than 800 participants per year. Through fundraising efforts, the organization is able to provide this vital therapy to those who need the service most, regardless of income level.
