Naples Automotive Experience raises over $1 million for St. Matthew’s House Naples, FL — February 15, 2023 — The Naples Automotive Experience 2023, presented by the Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, raised more than $1,200,000 for St. Matthew’s House to support the non-profit organization in its work to help people experiencing homelessness, hunger, substance abuse, and poverty in Southwest Florida. “Together with all who participated in assuring that the Naples Automotive Experience presents a consistently high-level of quality and our attendees, sponsors and volunteers, we have again exceeded the $1 million mark for St. Matthew’s House,” notes Naples Ferrari Club of America President Tom O’Riordan. In its 19th year, the February 2-5 event included four days of automobile focused fun and festivities in celebration of the ultimate in exotic, luxury and vintage cars. The Naples Motorcar Auction, introduced last year, once again, delivered a significant addition to the already immensely popular event. The Motorcar Auction is presented in partnership with the Saratoga Automobile Museum, presenter of the nationally acclaimed Saratoga Motorcar Auction. Events also included the traditional kick-off event — the Naples Automotive Experience Jetport Reception — at Naples Airport’s Elite Jets Hangar. The Jetport Reception featured a high-energy futuristic theme and showcased some of the ultimate in exotic cars and jets as well as the unveiling of the fastest car in the world along with music, fine wines and great food. The action revved up even more on Friday with the Naples Motorcar Auction at Ultimate Garages of Naples. On Saturday, Naples’ largest one-day event — the Cars on 5th Concours — took place in downtown Naples with more than 25,000 in attendance. Additional events included a last-chance auto sale at Ultimate Garages of Naples and Supercar Poker Run on Sunday. In addition to the Naples Chapter of Ferrari Club of America, participating car clubs included British Car Club of Southwest Florida, Cool Cruisers, Porsche Club of America-Everglades Region, Corvettes of Naples, Alpha Romeo Club, Lamborghini Club, West Coast Muscle Cars, Mercedes-Benz Club, Paradise Gruppe, Jaguar Club and BMW Club. More than 740 cars were showcased in this year’s event and there were more than 100 participating vendors and sponsors. “The Naples Automotive Experience continues to grow and get better each year,” says O’Riordan. “Our fellow car clubs present the best of the best cars their club members have to offer. We continue to attract some of the finest automobiles in the world and the Naples Automotive Experience has become one of the finest, multi-marque shows in the U.S. We are driven by the great work that St. Matthew’s House does for our Southwest Florida residents. Our goal to raise awareness of this great work is a mission for us. Once you have been touched by St. Matthew’s House, you will understand what compels us to do even more.” According to St. Matthew’s House CEO Steve Brooder, “We are deeply grateful to the Ferrari Club of America Naples, Chapter President Tom O’Riordan and Vice President and St. Matthew’s House Board Member Dennis Flint for presenting this world-class event each year to support the work of St. Matthew’s House. We also thank our volunteers and staff, the many participating car clubs, the City of Naples and the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District for making this year’s Naples Automotive Experience a great success. The money raised will make a tremendous difference in the scope and scale of the services St. Matthew’s House can provide to men, women and children experiencing some of life’s greatest challenges — homelessness, hunger and addiction.” Sponsors of the Naples Automotive Experience include Ferrari Club of America, Ferrari of Naples, Key Private Bank, Bank of America, Jet It, Ultimate Garages, The Agency, Gulfshore Life, Brinkley RV, Wilson & Johnson, The Vine Room, Elite Jets, Adobe Road Winery, Naples Daily News and News-Press.
