New Ownership and Rebranding for Everglades Manatee Tours The family-owned company that has been around since 1999 has sold to a young family that brings fresh eyes and new ideas to a southwest Florida staple. Port of the Islands Marina-Dock D, 2/10/2023 Manatee Sightseeing and Wildlife Adventures will be announcing the change in ownership and rebranding for the first time on February 10, 2023, the one-year anniversary of the sale. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and to experience the revamping firsthand. The event will start at noon at 525 Newport Drive, Naples, Florida 34114. The grand opening includes light refreshments and raffle prizes including free and discounted tour tickets. “We are thrilled to have found this hidden gem of a business and have quickly fallen in love with all of the different facets of running a wildlife boat tour,” said Elaine Zito. “Seeing the wildlife never gets old. Since taking over, we’ve seen hundreds of manatees, alligators, sharks and dolphin and each time is just as exciting.” Manatee Sightseeing and Wildlife Adventures is located in the Port of the Islands in the Everglades of Naples. They offer four ways to see manatees by boat including trips out to the Ten Thousand Islands and fishing charters. With variety in adventures and 12 covered boats, their tours are great for all ages and party sizes. “The location is what makes our tours special. Port of the Islands is six miles upriver from the Gulf of Mexico where manatees swim along the mangroves and canals for fresh and warm water,” said Allyn Zito. “We are the only manatee sightseeing excursion that sees manatees year around in the wild. It is a pretty special operation in the heart of the Everglades. The manatees truly take safe haven in our waters during the cold months and because of this we see an abundance of manatees between NovemberMay-we pretty much have them all to ourselves.
