Naples Airport Authority to Hold Joint NCC/TAC Public Meeting Related to Ongoing Noise Study Naples, Florida – The Naples Airport Authority (NAA) will host a joint meeting of the Noise Compatibility Committee (NCC) and the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on Thursday, November 3rd, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Dr, Naples FL 34103. The meeting will present an update on the current Part 150 Noise Study and provide an opportunity for both committees to continue to evaluate potential measures for noise abatement that have been proposed. The NCC and TAC are committees are comprised of citizen volunteers dedicated to providing input related to noise abatement and the Part 150 Noise Study. The public is invited to attend and will have the opportunity to speak during the public comment periods. The Part 150 Noise Study relies heavily on public engagement and feedback, and the community is strongly encouraged to stay involved throughout the process. The Naples Airport Authority is undertaking a voluntary Part 150 Noise Study to review its noise compatibility planning. The Part 150 Study process provides airport operators, pilots, communities, and the FAA with a federally regulated process for evaluating options to address community concerns related to noise exposure while preserving the airport’s safety and operational capabilities. The study is currently in the Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) Phase, which identifies and evaluates potential noise mitigation and abatement alternatives to address community feedback.
