Boys & Girls Club reschedules ‘Great Futures’ kickoff for Oct. 20 NAPLES, Fla. (Oct. 12, 2022) – Boys & Girls Club of Collier County has rescheduled its Great Futures Start Here kickoff for Oct. 20 in Naples. The free event was postponed two weeks because of Hurricane Ian. The Great Futures kickoff, which is sponsored by the Naples Daily News and PNC Financial Services, features campus tours, a program highlighting achievements, opportunities to interact with Club members and hors d’oeuvres prepared by members of the Club’s Junior Culinary Program. The event attracts donors, supporters, community members, business partners, government leaders and Club alumni. RSVPs for the Great Futures Start Here kickoff are required by Friday, Oct. 14 by emailing RSVP@bgccc.com. The event begins at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Boys & Girls Club’s Nichols Campus, 7500 Davis Blvd. in Naples. Lawrence Joseph, a senior at Immokalee High School, will deliver the keynote address. Joseph has been a member of the Bolch Campus in Immokalee for seven years and is pursuing culinary arts training at Immokalee Technical College.
