Collier County Parks & Recreation North Collier Regional Park Garden Beautification Project A Call for Volunteers Collier County Parks and Recreation supports our environment and our pollinators in part through our butterfly gardens. Butterflies and pollinators are considered a precious resource that needs our help. Pollinators are not only responsible for the processes that allow us to grow food, but they also support healthy ecosystems and other wildlife. Through butterfly gardens, Collier County Parks and Recreation is actively promoting clean air, stabilized soils, welcoming nurseries for pollinators, safe habitats for other wildlife, and a source of beauty and tranquility for park visitors. The largest of all our butterfly gardens is at North Collier Regional Park, 15000 Livingston Road, Naples, FL. 34109. On September 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. you are invited to come out and work in the garden alongside our volunteer team. No special skills are required, you are welcome to bring your garden tools, or you may use ours. Gloves are recommended, but if you prefer the dirt between your fingers, so do we. So come enjoy the beauty of this garden and see why research shows gardening is good for the mind, body, and spirit.
