Kathy Peterson Named FSW Admissions Director AUGUST 4, 2022 – FORT MYERS, FLA — Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) welcomes Kathy Peterson as its new Director of Admissions. Peterson comes to FSW from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) where she served in various roles since 1997. Most recently, Peterson served as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services/Senior Woman Administrator. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator; Interim Director of Undergraduate Admissions; Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions; and Coordinator, Transfer Articulation at FGCU. Peterson received her MBA from Florida State University and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida. “We are fortunate to have Kathy join the Division of Student Affairs at FSW,” said Dr. Michele Yovanovich, vice president, FSW Student Affairs. “She brings many years of experience in higher education in which she led teams to meeting institutional goals. She will be a great fit with our strong professionals here at the FSW.”
