Hodges University faculty and staff put their creative and construction skills to work with 14 Thanksgiving displays on the Naples and Fort Myers campuses. The displays were made of non-perishable food items for a Thanksgiving dinner, so that they could be donated after the displays were judged. As a result, 665 pounds of non-perishable food items were delivered to the Bonita Springs Assistance Office for its food pantry. Dr. John Meyer, president of Hodges University, judged all the displays and the winners list follows. Most Creative: Student Financial Services and Registrar; Best School Spirit (tie): School of Liberal Studies and Admissions; Funniest: First Impressions; Best Overall: Student Experience and Honorable Mention: Fisher School of Technology. “I was impressed with the creativity and ingenuity our faculty and staff put into their displays,” said Dr. Meyer. “It’s clear we have some hidden talent at Hodges. The most rewarding part of this was our ability as a team to help others in our community.”
