The Neighborhood Health Clinic (Clinic) – a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization providing Collier County’s working, uninsured residents quality medical and dental care – will receive a $2,500 State Farm grant for patient education during a check presentation ceremony taking place on November, 26, 2019, at 11:00 am at the charity’s campus located at 88 Twelfth Street North, Naples FL 34102. “We are proud to provide a grant to help support the patient education programs at the Clinic” says, Jose Soto, State Farm Public Affairs Specialist. “This grant will assist in helping bring more hope and healing for those in need in our community.” The $2,500 State Farm grant for patient education materials will be awarded during a check presentation ceremony featuring: -State Representative Bob Rommel -State Farm Agents -Clinic CEO Leslie Lascheid “It’s not enough to just provide the highest quality dental and medical treatment for patients,” explains Clinic CEO Leslie Lascheid. “We want to ensure they have the tools necessary to be well and enjoy meaningful, productive lives at home, work and play. Having the right patient education materials available makes that hope and healing possible.” The Clinic provides patient education and research projects, including: -Breast Health Awareness -Colon Cancer Screening -Diabetes Self-Management -Healthy Lifestyles -Hepatitis C Treatment and Support -Pain Management -Smoking Cessation -Social Services Additionally, the recently expanded campus, with state-of-the-art Radiology equipment and dental operatories, offers specialties in Acupuncture, Cardiology, Colon Cancer Testing, Counseling, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Hepatology, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Laboratory, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pain Management, Podiatry, Rheumatology and Urology. Ensuring all patient needs are met, the facility also includes an on-site Medication Room that administered more than $5.5 million (retail cost) in medications during 2018.
