Naples, FL (5/18/2018) — Cyndee Woolley, owner of C2 Communications, has been named the winner of the 2018 Naples Chamber Chairman’s Award for her continued support of the Chamber and its youth outreach programs. Woolley was presented the Chairman’s Award at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on May 17, 2018 at The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. The Chairman’s Award is an opportunity for the Chamber Chairman to recognize an individual who has helped the organization reach its goals and fulfill its mission. The award honors someone who goes above and beyond, touching many in the community. The winner is selected by the Chairman of the Naples Chamber Board of Directors in consultation with the President and CEO. Woolley is a graduate of Leadership Collier™ class of 2012. For over 15 years she has been a dedicated Naples Chamber and Leadership Collier Foundation™ advocate and volunteer. She is being honored for her 16 years leadership with Farm City BBQ of Collier County, and the impact it has had on the community. Prior to Woolley’s involvement, attendance for Farm City BBQ was a few hundred people. Woolley stepped up to establish Farm City as an independent non-profit organization and worked to build broad community support to grow the annual event. It now attracts nearly 3,000 attendees and has provided more than $600,000 to youth organizations aimed at building the next generation of community leaders. In 2017, LCF’s Youth Leadership Collier™ program received more than $18,000 from Farm City BBQ. This year, Woolley is working with Sunshine Ace Hardware to launch the first annual Big Green Egg Festival on June 2, which will further benefit Farm City Charities. “As the Chamber continues to expand their work and outreach with youth in Collier County, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a beneficiary of this work that Cyndee leads,” said Dan Lavender, the 2017-2018 Chairman of the Naples Chamber Board of Directors. “Through the years, the Chamber has given me access to so many great mentors, colleagues, and friends. It is an honor to give back and support an organization that has provided me so much,” said Woolley. The Chamber’s Annual Meeting celebrates the organization’s accomplishments with recognitions, honors and a keynote address. This year more than 400 members of the Southwest Florida business community celebrated the Naples Chamber’s 70-year history of working to make Collier County the best place to live, work and visit.
