Naples, Fla. (October 24, 2017) – The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Nikkie Dvorchak has joined The GNCC as the new Vice President of Events and Development. Starting Nov. 6, she will manage all monthly and annual member events and philanthropic giving for the organization. “We are excited to welcome Nikkie to the Naples Chamber. Her extensive background in events and fundraising, plus her knowledge of the Collier County community make her an excellent addition to the team,” says Michael Dalby, President and CEO of The GNCC. She comes to us from the Conservancy of Southwest Florida where she was the Director of Events & Corporate Relations for the past 6 years. Dvorchak started with the Conservancy in 2011 when she and her husband relocated to Naples. Nikkie managed all the organization’s fundraising events such as Magic Under the Mangroves, Redsnook Catch & Release Charity Tournament, Water Works Luncheon and Earth Day Festival which generates over $2 million annually. "I am excited to become a part of the Chamber Team where I will have the opportunity to help enhance the mission to make Collier County the best place to live, work and visit." says Nikkie. Prior to her move to Naples with her husband Mike, and now two young sons, Talon & Dax, she had resided in her home town of Pittsburgh, Pa. where she attended Point Park University and received her Bachelors of Performing Arts. She began her career right out of college as the Director of Placement for John Robert Powers International Acting & Modeling Company where she placed over 20 clients into the entertainment industry in New York, Los Angles and internationally. In her pursuit to advance her career in the events industry, she started with the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South as the Executive Meeting Manager, where she would coordinate all social and corporate rental events. For almost five years before heading south, she gained a tremendous amount of experience as the Club Marketing Manager with the Pittsburgh Steelers Organization coordinating over 300 special events a year, managing the club level on game days and assisting in all the planning for both Super Bowl XLIII and Super Bowl XLV. ### About The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization of more than 1,400 active members that works to strengthen the local economy and promote the business community.
