Marco Island, November 3, 2017: - Mark your calendar for The Art Center’s holiday market where the gift gallery will be transformed to a merry celebration of good cheer and a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for all! Shoppers and collectors will enjoy buying original artwork and gifts, while supporting local and regional artists and keeping the Marco Island arts community vital. The Holiday Gift Gallery runs Thursday thru Saturday, November 16 – November 18, 2017, with extended hours on Thursday and Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday, 12:00 – 5:30 pm. Free and Open to the Public. In appreciation for all your support throughout the year, when purchasing an item during the Holiday Sale you will receive a surprise Lagniappe (Creole for “a little something extra”) in your bag! Plus, cookies and cider will be offered to warm the heart. There will be exclusive Fabergé-like ornaments for sale that were handmade with great attention to detail. Additionally, new items from some of our favorite artists will be on the shelves. You will always find children’s books, glass, jewelry, paintings, pottery, wearables, and distinctive gifts for any occasion. Get your shopping done early for everyone on your list. Gift certificates are available for purchase and can be used for classes, artwork and the Gift Gallery. Save these Festive Dates for You and the Family: November 28 -30: (Tuesday thru Thursday) 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Festival of Trees. November 28: 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Gingerbread House Making Workshop for children ages 6-12. Registration is required and space is limited. Registration fee is $10 member and $15 for non-member. November 28: 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Meet and greet with Santa. December 4 – 26: The Art of Clay Exhibition and Sale, Second Tuesday Reception on December 12, 5:30-7:00 pm. December 7: Beaux Art Holiday Tea with Jackie Pierce – 3:00 pm. Free but registration is required and space is limited. December 19: Make your own Holiday Centerpiece with Bella Florals by Theresa, 5:30 pm, $60 registration fee and space is limited.
