Naples, FL – 10/26/17 – The Neighborhood Health Clinic (Clinic) – a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization providing Collier County’s working, uninsured adults quality medical and dental care – hosted a complimentary, invitation-only event for Collier County Nurses on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. The evening included wine, hors d'oeuvres and dessert, as well as featured two distinguished speakers: •Nancy Lascheid, BSN, RN, Founder, Neighborhood Health Clinic presenting “Innovations in Healthcare for Low-income Workers – Nurses Make the Difference! •Judge Janeice Martin, County Court Judge, Drug/Mental Health presenting “The Opiate Crisis in Collier County from the Judge’s Perspective” The Collier County Nurses held their event at the Clinic, 121 Goodlette Road North, and 83 nurses attended. The members of the Collier County Nurses include Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses who live or work in Collier County. Their meetings are both informative and educational.
