The funds, raised through a series of three annual three-day Mahjongg tournaments and a larger tournament drawing competitors from across Florida, were presented to Neighborhood Health Clinic Co-Founder Nancy Lascheid on Thursday, June 29, 2017. The NIAF Presenting Committee, which featured Jeanne Benefico; Carmine Errico MD, VP Planning Programs; Nancy Gruppuso, Director; Jennifer McCall, VP Financial Affairs/Treasurer and Charlotte McDermott, enjoyed a tour of the facility hosted by Lascheid and received copies of the Clinic’s Breast Health/Self Examination DVDs. “We are so grateful to Dr. Errico, NIAF board member and dedicated Clinic volunteer, for making this generous donation possible,” explains Lascheid. “Each year, we provide more than 9,900 patient visits for the working uninsured in Collier County.
