Naples, Fla. – July 7, 2017 – Quail Creek Country Club (QCCC), host site of the 31st U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, is seeking volunteers for the first USGA championship contested in Naples. QCC’s courses, designed by Arthur Hills, will be used for both the stroke-play and for the match-play portion of the championship. The dates for the event are October 5 -12 (including practice rounds). Volunteers are an integral part of the Championship’s ultimate success. Volunteering is a fun and enjoyable way to experience the Championship, and we are seeking an additional 100 volunteers to ensure a first-class event. You don’t need to be a golfer to volunteer and may volunteer for as much or as little as you wish. The volunteer package is $75 and includes a volunteer golf shirt, hat, parking and breakfast and/or lunch before or after shifts. As a “thank you” to our volunteers who work 15 hours or more, we will hold a Volunteer Appreciation Golf Outing on Sunday, October 15, on the championship course. The outing will begin with a 12:00 pm BBQ, followed by a 1:30 pm shotgun.
